Ottavio Boron (Occy)

Director of Tournament Tennis for the past 5 years and developed a coaching program that involves pupils and coaches. I played my junior tennis in Melbourne and traveled to play the ITF junior circuit in Italy and went on to play the French circuit for a few years after. I have been coaching for the past 20 years and established a great rapport with the children and their parents that I coach. I am a Tennis Australia qualified Club Professional/Advanced Coach and a registered member of Tennis Australia.

Kelvin Callaghan

Kelvin Callaghan

Kelvin is a Tennis Australia Certified Club Profesional coach and a registered member of Tennis Australia, a real student of the game and has been playing tennis for 35 years. He is currently playing pennant at Coatesville Tennis Club and assists with the junior teams. His enthusiasm in teaching all ages and all levels is second to none. Kelvin also achieved the highest marks in passing the 2005 Tennis Coaches course. A Super effort for a Super Coach.

 

Michael Burke

Michael has been a pupil all the way through his junior career at Coatesville Tc under Ottavio reaching the highest level in MJDTA winning section 1. He now coaches and has been for the past 8 years. He has a great knowledge and understanding of the game along with a great rapport with kids. He has a qualification in Personal Training and loves to instruct and motivate his pupils. Still playing competitively at a high level he is currently playing Grade 5 pennant at the club.

George Nalbanis

George commenced coaching for Tournament Tennis in 2009. He has made himself a permanent and competent coach. George has the ability to instill confidence in his pupils, understanding the coaching Program and the benefits it has for all involved. George coaches in all Programs from Mini Tennis through to Shared and Private lessons. George is apart of the development coaches and hopes one day to become a Club Professional Tennis Australia Coach.

Alessio Barbieri

Tournament Tennis has recruited a new Tennis Australia Club Professional Coach in Alessio Barbieri. Alessio has worked overseas at various tennis center’s across Europe. During this time he has created a pathway for junior players who have made the decision to take there tennis playing to a more professional level. Alessio has also independently organized in taking a group of players to numerous country tournaments. This involves morning practice sessions, dietary requirements and matchplay analysis. Tournament Tennis is excited to have Alessio on board.

Justin Guy

A Tennis Australia Certified Development Coach and a registered member of Tennis Australia. Justin commenced coaching for Tournament Tennis in 2016. He established a permanent position within Tournament Tennis. Justin has a solid understanding the coaching Program and the benefits it has for all involved. Justin coaches in all Programs from Mini Tennis through to Shared and Private lessons. Justin is apart of the development coaches with Tournament Tennis.
