Tennis Lesson Policy

WASHOUT & HEATOUT POLICY

If a lesson is to be cancelled due to inclement weather you will receive an sms message from the coach 30 – 60min prior to commencement of lesson. If you do not hear from them then the lesson is ON. In the case of extreme heat, where the forecast temperature is set to hit 36 degrees 1 hour before the lesson is due to begin, lessons will be cancelled.

While we are running classes we cannot answer mobile phones nor reply to messages.

After a wash out or heat out it is up to the client to log onto the web site and complete a Registration Make Up form via web site. You can select and suitable day, date and time.  After processing you will then receive an email confirming your selected option.

ALL lesson cancellations must be submitted 24 hours prior to the lesson commencement.  If 24hrs notice isn’t given then the lesson will be charged and Make Up not offered.

All Make-Up Registrations need to be submitted via email 48 hours prior to your selected Make-Up class. As group lessons are calculated between 4-6 pupils, if your child is attending a lesson with 3 or less pupils there will be No Make-Up options. Tournament Tennis feels that the value of 3 pupils in a Group Program is most beneficial. Make Up lessons will only be offered to those pupils, once the Term Invoice is fully paid.

If you are unable to attend a lesson procedure is as per above. Only 1 Make-Up per Term.

We do not offer any credits or discounts in regards to lessons washed out or not attended.  We feel that the multiple options offered at our various venues are more than enough opportunity for Make Up lessons. Furthermore there will be no carry over Make Ups from term to term.  There is to be No self adjustment of Invoice amounts.

Tournament Tennis has a responsibility to supervise pupils during their lesson times. Your child’s lesson will be held unless you are notified.

PARENT INVOLVEMENT DURING LESSONS POLICY  Tournament Tennis believes it is best for the pupils that parents do not enter the tennis court during lessons. This allows both coach and pupil to fully engage and get the most out of the lesson program.
